Tapping into Tradition – Now in Stunning Relief!
A Piece of Oktoberfest History in Ceramic Perfection
What would Oktoberfest be without beer, camaraderie—and the beloved festival stein?
For decades, the classic "Bavarian Blank 1.0 L Mug“, featuring a new Munich Oktoberfest poster design each year, has been a staple of the Wiesn.
Until now, that design was applied as a decal—but 2025 marks an exciting new chapter for collectors and lovers of traditional craftsmanship:
For the first time ever, the official annual Oktoberfest poster design is available as a handcrafted relief stein—entirely made in Germany, with exceptional attention to detail, quality, and artistry.
This special edition is produced by the renowned ceramic manufacturer King-Werk, Würfel & Mueller, based in Hoehr-Grenzhausen—the heart of German ceramic craftsmanship.
Sculpted, hand-painted, and kiln-fired according to traditional methods, this stein is a celebration of heritage, joy, and collectible artistry.
Limited to just 3,000 pieces worldwide, the edition showcases intricately detailed relief artwork:
- The official Oktoberfest poster design (to the right of the handle)
- A traditional Bavarian brass band with the iconic Oktoberfest Ferris wheel (front)
- Munich landmarks including the Town Hall, Church of Our Lady, and the backdrop of the Alps (left of the handle)
There are three different pewter lid versions available:
(HERE:) Baroque Style lid or figural beerwaggon lid or figural beermaid lid
Framing the imagery are beautifully sculpted relief borders featuring stylized edelweiss flowers, brewery wagons, and Bavarian crests. Another standout detail: The year and "Oktoberfest München" lettering, hand-painted with 24-karat gold.
Topping it all off is a premium pewter lid, adorned with a finely detailed relief structure. Each stein is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
This stein is more than just a vessel—it’s a tribute to what brings us together: shared memories, celebration, tradition, and community.
A stein that lasts. A treasure that tells a story.
