A great amount of crafting skill is needed in making this kind of steins.
Due to the complexity of this product, its made of very fine ceramic.
Parts of the stein have to be separately pre-produced and then assembled before the first firing and decorating.
Max the boar is dressed and ready to “PROST”, dance and sing at the Oktoberfest.
Max is “caught in action” by dancing the traditional Bavarian “Schuhplattler” Dance:
Stomp, clap and strike your calves, upper tights as well as the sole
of your shoe (Schuh) with your hands, held flat (platt).
He wears the Bavarian costume which is the Lederhosen with Edelweiss
and Bavarian flag décor, Alpine hiking boots, mountaineering walking stick,
backpack with his German Dachshund resting inside, and the German hunter hat
with real hair in the “Gamsbart”.
At second look, you will discover his tattoo on his right arm “I love
Bavaria”, the Weisswurst – handle, the Kannenbacker Beer Mug as
well as the radish.
