2024 Annual Limited Edition "In May", multi-colored hand-painting
This year's edition is the 25th piece in the King-Werk “Annual Limited Edition” Series.
The original was modeled by Wilhelm Kamp around 1899.
The subsequent production took place in Höhr-Grenzhausen in Albert Jacob Thewalt's factory.
The hand-painted, multi-colored motif shows a couple in festive clothing in a park. The title of the motif is “Im Maien” (In May) – which not only alludes to spring, but also to the phase of the lovers’ lives.
The side ornaments in finely crafted relief further enhance the jug. The rhyme on the jug reads:
May your life be blessed at any time with
Health, happiness, contentment"
This 2liter stein is crowned with a bottle lid made of real pewter.
Each stein is individually numbered by hand.
Limited to 2,500 pieces worldwide.
