The German Eagle Crest in deep relief with German flags in its back-ground are the main motif of this stein.

The detailed relief has been artistically hand-painted by King-Werk's best artists.

The stein's handle area shows oak leaves and acorns.

Both - the eagle and the oak tree- are Germany's symbols for steadiness and strength.

The decoration of this stein has been done by hand-painting, but with rustic effects by leaving out the cobalt blue back-ground as well as the shiny transparent glaze. Instead of this, a dark glaze color was applied and then carefully wiped away from the raised relief parts, remaining in the recessed areas. You could also say that the rustic decor has more of a vintage look than the shiny cobalt version.

As truly this stein is made in Germany, as genuinely the lid is made of fine pewter.

Limited to 10,000 pieces world-wide, this 10 1/2" tall stein is a true collectible for Germany lovers.
