Patronae Bavaria Stein
With this name, the Holy Virgin Mary is venerated as the patron saint of Bavaria.
St. Mary has been revered since the earliest times. Since 1916, Mary has been formally designated as the patroness of Bavaria by Pope Benedict XV.


Mary, "Queen of Bavaria" is depicted on this stein as Madonna with Baby Jesus in Deep relief with intricate hand-paintíng.

The crown and parts of the relief ornaments were painted with gold and fired at approx. 560°C.

The whole is rounded off with the pious request "Protect us and our country".
The Madonna motif fits ideally on the tall, slender shape of the stein.
